GTA 6 RP on Kick

If you want to understand why GTA dominates streaming, the answer is two letters: RP. GTA roleplay turned a single-player crime game into the biggest live-streaming phenomenon of the last decade, and many of the Kick creators best placed to lead GTA 6 built their audiences on it. This page explains what GTA RP is, which Kick streamers are RP-first, and how RP servers are joined, with a clear note on what is and is not confirmed for GTA 6.

What is GTA RP?

GTA RP (roleplay) is a way of playing GTA where each player stays in character on a shared community server. Instead of free-roam chaos, players take on personas, a cop, a paramedic, a mechanic, a mob boss, and act out ongoing stories with their own rules, jobs, and consequences. It is closer to improvised live theatre than to a normal game session, and that is exactly why it is so watchable.

For viewers, a good RP server is a soap opera that never ends: rivalries, heists, court cases, businesses, and friendships all play out across dozens of streamers at once, each showing the same world from their character's point of view.

Why RP is the engine of GTA streaming

RP is sticky. A single storyline can run for weeks, pulling viewers back day after day to see what happens next. It also rewards multi-streamer viewing, you can hop between creators to follow the same event from different angles. That combination is why GTA RP has produced some of the largest viewership spikes in streaming history, and why RP creators are the safest bets to dominate GTA 6 at launch.

RP-first Kick streamers to watch

Many of Kick's biggest GTA names are roleplay creators or run their own RP communities. Based on Streams Charts data, the RP-heavy names to watch include PaulinhoLOKObr and LOUD Coringa (Brazil), who anchor huge Portuguese-language RP audiences, alongside major Spanish and Arabic creators. How RP servers work today (the FiveM model)

Right now, GTA roleplay runs on GTA V through FiveM, a community modification framework that lets people host custom multiplayer servers. To join an RP server today you typically:

  1. Own GTA V on PC.
  2. Install FiveM from its official site.
  3. Apply to a server's community (many require a whitelist application and rules agreement).
  4. Once approved, connect through FiveM and create your character.

Some servers are open, many are whitelisted to keep the roleplay quality high. The most famous example, NoPixel, popularised the whitelisted, application-based model that many communities now follow.

What about GTA 6 RP?

GTA 6 RP and modding support are not confirmed. Rockstar Games has not announced roleplay or mod-server support for GTA 6. Today's GTA RP runs on GTA V through FiveM, and there is no official word on whether a similar framework will exist for GTA 6, or when. Treat any "GTA 6 RP server" or "GTA 6 FiveM" claim as a leak or rumour until officially confirmed.

To keep the facts clean: Confirmed Rockstar has announced GTA 6 for 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. RP and modding support for GTA 6 is a separate question Rockstar has not answered. At launch, expect streamers to play standard GTA 6 and any official online mode; community RP, if it comes, would likely take time to develop, just as it did for GTA V.
